Selection Process for ICC Annual Awards
Every year the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce at their Annual Banquet presents Awards to prople who are 1. Successful in business or professional careers, and 2.Have distinguished themselves in any of the award categories.
Award categories are
Outstanding contribution to Community service.
Oustanding Professional to Acheivement
Outstanding contribution to Arts and Humanities.
Student Scholorship[18yrs-25yrs]
Nomination forms can be downloaded from here. They are also printed in Indian community newspaper & distributed in the community inviting nominations for the awards in the above listed categories. Deadline for nomination is usually set 2 weeks before the Anuual Award Banquet.
Participate in the nomination of candidates for the ICC Chamber Annual Awards Banquet. Please fill in the form for suitable candidates and be sure that the nominee can attend the Banquet function. The Nominees must be of Indian Origin, residing in Northern California. All nominations must be accompanied by a completed resume/biography of the nominee.
All the nominations received by the due date are reviewed by the nominating committee. The nominating Committee consists of 5 members from the Board of Directors. After reviewing the nominations for each category the commitee makes a recommendation to the board of directors. The board reviews the nominations received and vote their choices. Thus the final Award recipient is selected. ICC makes every attempt to seek the nominations from the community at large.
